How we collect, use, and protect your information on this website.
This website, bryanhossredbankjudge.com, is operated by Friends of Bryan Hoss Red Bank Judge, a political campaign committee supporting Bryan Hoss's candidacy for Red Bank City Judge. Henry Hoss serves as Treasurer. References to "we," "us," or "the campaign" throughout this policy mean this committee.

Information you give us directly. We actively collect personal information through two forms on this site: the Volunteer Sign-Up form and the Endorsement / Testimonial form.
When you submit the Volunteer Sign-Up form, we receive:
When you submit the Endorsement / Testimonial form, we receive:
We do not collect payment information. Contributions are processed entirely on Venmo's platform — we never see your financial details.
Information collected automatically by our hosting provider. This website is hosted by Vercel, Inc. (340 Pine Street, Suite 1501, San Francisco, CA 94104). When you visit any page, Vercel's servers automatically log standard request data, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you requested, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. Vercel uses this data to operate and secure the hosting infrastructure. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.
Google Fonts. Every page on this site loads fonts (Anton, Newsreader, Source Sans 3) from Google's font CDN (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). This causes your browser to make a direct request to Google's servers, which may allow Google to collect your IP address and browser information. The campaign has no control over that data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Cookies. This website does not set any cookies and does not use browser local storage to track you.
Analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracking on this site.
If you submit the volunteer form, we use your contact information to:
If you submit the endorsement form, we use the information to:
We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the Bryan Hoss campaign for Red Bank City Judge.
Volunteer and endorsement form submissions are stored in a Supabase database (Supabase Inc., San Francisco, CA). The database is hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the US East (Northern Virginia) region. Access to the database is restricted to campaign administrators. The public website is technically configured so that it can submit new records but cannot read, update, or delete the records in these tables — your contact information is never exposed to the general public through the website's code.
Any photo you upload with an endorsement is stored in a Supabase Storage bucket that is publicly readable by design, because the photo is being submitted to be shared publicly alongside your endorsement. Anyone with the photo's link can view it. Please only upload a photo you are comfortable making public.
When a form is submitted, we also send an internal notification email to the campaign containing your submission. That email is delivered through Resend (Resend, resend.com), a third-party email service that processes the submitted information solely to deliver the notification on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
We may share your contact information within the campaign — for example, with campaign staff or volunteers who need access in order to reach out and coordinate activities.
Endorsements are public. If you submit the endorsement form and check the consent box, you authorize us to publish your name and endorsement — and any photo you upload — on this website and the campaign's social media, and to submit them to local media outlets, for purposes of the campaign. Please do not submit an endorsement or photo unless you are comfortable with it being shared publicly.
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site — currently our website host (Vercel), our database and file storage (Supabase), and our email-delivery service (Resend). They process information only to provide those services to us, not for their own purposes.
We will disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process.
The "Contribute" button on this site opens a modal that links to Venmo (owned by PayPal, Inc.). If you click through to Venmo, you leave this website and are subject to Venmo's and PayPal's own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive any financial or payment data from Venmo.
By checking the consent box on the volunteer form, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated or manually dialed text messages from Friends of Bryan Hoss Red Bank Judge at the mobile number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. To stop receiving texts, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or email us at abarto03@gmail.com. Opting out of texts does not delete your volunteer record; contact us to request full removal.
By checking the consent box on the volunteer form, you also consent to receive campaign emails. To unsubscribe, reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any campaign email, or email us directly at abarto03@gmail.com.
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing abarto03@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that we may retain certain records as required by law, including Tennessee campaign finance recordkeeping obligations.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
